Remembrance day 2018

well its 100 years since the end of WW1
as a tradition now i have painted a poppy picture on remembrance day.
not done much painting since moving. so this time i had chance to paint in the caravan studio.
music on and heating and the sun giving nice light, better than i ever have had before.
so here it is , based on a picture on the internet  but with my interpretation.

October 3rd 2018 lake district inspired

here is my first painting for ages since i have moved. painted in our caravan i now use as a studio. i rock found local and painted in acrylic. inspired from the lake district. featuring the stone walls lake and mountains and rugged foreground the land has.
hopefully more to follow on canvas very soon.

Big move

at the moment all my paints and boards are in our new place up in Aberystwth Wales.
as soon as i have moved in proper i should be able to get the brushes out again
